Isa lang naman ang aking pangarap,
Pero bakit napakailap.
Gusto ko lang naman sumaya,
Pusong sanay busilak, sinalo ng duda.

Noong Puso'ng nagliliyab,
Ngayon ay pagod at basag.
Namimilipit sa sakit,
Ngunit di man lang makapalag.

Di na mapapawi ang sakit na dulot,
Laging naman kasing sinisindihan ang galit at poot.
Hinayaang mautas,
Pinabayaan magdamag, Ngayon puso ay butas.

At kahit anong sigaw di maririnig,
Mata kong laging dilat ngayon ay ipipikit.
Mga salitang napakawalan,
Nagmula sa galit ng dibdib.

Mga salitang tumatabas,
Na kahit magtago sa pader ay tatagos.
Sinabi na nila ngunit sasabihin ko nanaman,
Ang magtatanim ng poot, aani ng malakas na ulan.

Itigil na ang digmaan,
Wala naman mananalo, Puro talo lang.
Sadyang napaka ilap ng pag-ibig,
kapag puso natin dalawa naubusan ng pintig.
